Dermal fillers at our Skin Clinic are injectable substances used to enhance facial features or restore volume loss by filling in wrinkles, lines, and folds.

They can also be used to augment lips and cheeks. The most common types of dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body, but there are also other types made of different materials. The effects of dermal fillers are temporary and typically last several months to a year or more, depending on the type used and the area treated.

Used For – Reducing deep folds and wrinkles, jowls, nose-to-mouth lines, ‘sad smile’ lines, tired-looking eyes, and sagging face, replacing volume in the face that is lost naturally through ageing from 30yrs+, creating a definition in the jawline.
Procedure – After numbing, a blunt cannula to place filler with only a couple of needle entry points makes procedures a lot more comfortable than multiple injections.

Dr Swift specialises in producing natural, almost undetectable results. Fillers should be used to make it unnecessary to contour with makeup and should leave you looking refreshed and natural. The results should be undetectable to the untrained eye. Used For – ‘Runny’ filler used to treat the texture of the skin on the whole face/ neck in one treatment, specialised for plumping the skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and giving a radiant glow, ‘skin booster’.
Procedure – Injections into the skin on several specific points on the face after numbing.
Results – Need at least x2 treatments, 4 weeks apart, x3 treatments for best results.

Used For – Improving collagen in an area over time to tighten lax and loose skin.
Procedure – Multiple dissolvable suture threads are placed into the skin after numbing.
Results – 1-2 months, best results 6 months later, repeat after 6-9 months to get best results that then last for 3 years.
